More like they wake up six months older. This photoshoot, while so beautifully fulfilling and rewarding, was so bittersweet. I feel like I’ve blinked and this sweet lump of sugar is almost 1.
When Sarah mentioned Cason’s first birthday was going to be baseball themed, I instantly knew where his cake smash had to take place. I grew up playing softball on this field. It is rugged and truly gives off the Sandlot vibes. No other field could have been more fitting for the occasion.
Just look at how this baby has grown. Not to mention, Cason may or may not have destroyed his cake.
Those pretty blues! Aghh… he looks like such a little man.
Oh how he adores his Mommy.
Sweet kisses for Daddy!
I forgot to mention just how much this boy loves balls! I see sports in his near future.
Take a good look at this beauty of a cake. It did not last long. It was love at first sight as soon as Cason saw it.
Thank you so much Paige Johnson Lee of Sugar Doll’s Kitchen for making such delicious and beautiful cakes. Check out the link above to see all of her amazing work.
YUMMMMMMMMY…. This cake is GOOD!
